Cape Town Mini Maker Faire 2016

Annual Young Ewe and Slaughter Lamb competition

Top sheep farmers are set to showcase their highest-quality animals this week.

The annual Development Farmer Young Ewe and Slaughter Lamb competition kicks off in Beaufort West on Tuesday, 15 March 2016.

Farmers from various Western Cape production areas will participate in the two-day event .

Mutton, wool, cross type and mohair small stock breeds will compete for prizes in their respective categories. Sessions around carcass evaluation and post mortem procedures will also take place.

Mega PetEx

Mega PetEx is a new platform where everyone who is ready to brag with their "family friends" can take part in a family friendly expo. Highlights include a variety of championships, auctions, shows, appraisals, exhibits, info sessions, talks, demos, family activities and competitions.
